Hi, I’m Shannon, the traveller and storyteller behind Global Shananigans. This blog began as a way to share the hidden sides of the world that often go unnoticed. The forgotten legends, eerie folklore, unusual traditions and the cultural quirks that make each place unforgettable. Unlike typical travel guides, Global Shananigans dives deeper. I don’t just write about where to go or what to eat, I explore the stories, history and human experiences that shape the places I visit. Why I Created This Blog

I’ve always been fascinated by the world’s mysteries, from haunted temples in Asia to ancient cultural practices in far flung villages.
