Puthuk Setumbu is a popular lookout set within one of the most culturally significant landscapes in Indonesia. From here, Borobudur Temple rises from the valley below, while the mighty Mount Merapi volcano dominates the horizon behind it. Before sunrise, the Kedu Plain fills with thick mist that erases the world beneath.
